A significant milestone was achieved with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Somali Medical Association (SMA) and the Private Sector Partnerships in Health (PSPH) project. The event brought together key stakeholders, including PSPH representatives, SMA members, the NHPC General Director, and a representative from Villa Somalia, to discuss advancements in Somalia’s healthcare system.

Funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by DT Global, SORDI, and Swiss TPH, the PSPH program aims to enhance healthcare quality by providing business management consulting to private sector partners. This collaboration seeks to expand access to affordable, quality healthcare and strengthen the private sector’s role in building a sustainable healthcare system.

Through this agreement, we are committed to improving the business and clinical skills of healthcare providers, promoting high standards of practice, and fostering continuous professional development for the benefit of all Somalis.
