WELCOME TO THE 1st SOMALI MEDICAL ASSOCIATION ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE.

The Somali Medical Association (SMA) is a professional association that represents medical practitioners in Somalia. It serves as a platform for doctors to collaborate, advocate for the interests of the medical profession, and promote high-quality healthcare in Somalia. 

The Association holds its 1st annual scientific conference with a theme based on emerging changes and development in the healthcare industry. The conference will contribute to the professional development of doctors as well as improving healthcare in general. Scientific papers and researches are presented and discussed during the conference and thereafter policies and resolutions formulated based around the discussions.

On behalf of the Somali Medical Association (SMA) we invite you to the 1st SMA Annual Scientific Conference to be held from 14th to 15st November, 2024 in Mogadishu, Somalia.

The theme for the conference is “Building resilient health systems in Somalia: confronting challenges and fostering collaborative solutions”.
